Soon the air will turn crisp, the leaves will transform before our eyes and pumpkins will begin popping up everywhere. The spirit of autumn is in the air and all the traditions it brings, including the annual Ghost Walk, coordinated by the Elizabethtown Heritage Council.
Mark your calendar for October 26-27, 2012 and make plans to participate in this fun-filled event that is expanding and offering even more activities for our community. The Heritage Council is excited to announce the "Nightmare on the Square." (Formerly known as the Ghost Walk.) The Nightmare on the Square starts on Friday evening with a Scavenger Hunt starting promptly at 6pm behind the Brown Pusey House in downtown Elizabethtown. You will need a team, a car, and team costumes if you have them. Of course the Ghost Walk will also take place on the usual Saturday night, as well as the coffin race, pumpkin drop, kids' zone, and all the events we've been doing in each previous year. Please browse our site to find more information and entry forms for various events. This event benefits the Elizabethtown – Hardin County Heritage Council, and their efforts to revitalize historic downtown Elizabethtown we hope you make it out to support the effort, and to have a great time with family & friends.
